Answers:
You can either combine it with foods you do like!. If you love chicken, eat a plate of grilled chicken with some ranch and just a little lettuce and slowly increase the lettuce!.

And remember that this is mostly mental!. Tell yourself everyday and every night "I love lettuce and I love salads" do this a hundred times a day if you can, say it outloud, look in the mirror and say it, say it quietly too!. Heck, if you can record your voice saying that on a cd and sleep with it on you'll notice your subconcious picking up and believing that!. It sounds loony, but our thoughts and mental power is very strong - we say things, and we believe them, and we do them!. So if you want to start eating lettuce, choose a short and sweet saying that speaks to you, for example "I love lettuce and I love salads"

Or try to clean your palate!. Cut out junk food and fast food for 30 days, then at day 31 when you go back to eating something really fattening you'll notice you don't have as highly of a developed taste for it as you did before and things more light, like salads, may be more appealing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't enjoy the taste of iceberg lettuce either!. There are a lot of things that can go into a salad, you don't need to use lettuce!.

I use finely shredded red or green cabbage, raw spinach, romaine lettuce, or other types of "greens!." Sometimes I use just one or two of these, sometimes more!. I also add some diced hard-cooked eggs, slices of tomato, cucumber, onions, radishes, ripe olives, pickled beets, and/or cauliflower florets!. Sometimes I have cubed cheese!. There are no rules about what has to go into a salad!. Use your imagination!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Maybe you can try different salad dressings or different types of salad!. You should try Italtian dressing or a vinagrette, its coats every lettuce to add flavor to each bite!. Try different toppings!. Maybe another cheese, like feta would make the salad better!. Or meats like chicken, shrimp, or bacon would make the salad more enjoyable!. Ceaser side salads are really yummy and flavorful!. You can also chop up some lettuce and add it to your tuna!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

On I think the Tyra Show, this lady she wanted to lose weight but her weakness or "trigger" food was cheesecake!. So she decided to go do some hypnosis thing & when they showed her some cheesecake she pracically puked! Then after the exercise she just had to do some mind exercises & the effect could last forever! At the end of the show they said that just how they could get someone to stop eating a food that they loved, they could get someone to eat a food that they hate!.

This might be a DRASTIC approach but!.!.!.!.!.HEY!.!.!.!.!.it's worth a shot!Www@FoodAQ@Com

yer, blend it with a food you do like!.!.!.and also, i don't know you're age, but you're tastes can change in time!.!.!.!.i mean!.!.!.!.as a child i hated ( i mean to the point of actually being sick if i ate one) i'm talking about sprouts!.!.!.!.now ( i'm 27 ) i LOVE them!!.!.!.!.weird!!!.!.!.!.!.!.if you like salad-cream, or simular, mix that with ya salad, but if you really wan't to start eating healthy ( like salads in this case ), the longer you eat it, the more you'll get used to eating them, and will start to like the food!.!.!.!.!.does that make sense!. It's just i know alot about nutrition!.!.!.!.i'm a bodybuilder!.!.!.!.AND WHAT THE HELLS PHOBIA BOY ON ABOUT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE, SHE SAID SHE DON'T LIKE TO EAT LETTACE, NOT THAT SHE HAS A PHOBIA ABOUT IT!!.!.!.!.AND WHO'S THE PERSON WHO EATS ROCKETS IN HER FOOD!?!.!.!.!.DON'T THEY HAVE LITTLE PEOPLE INSIDE ( CRUEL CARNIVOR!! )Www@FoodAQ@Com

Define 'lettuce'!. There's more to it than iceberg and little gem, y'know!. I eat lots of salad that doesn't contain any lettuce at all!. There's more to salad than lettuce, too!. For instance I had a salad last night that consisted of: - rocket, watercress, spinach, baby beetroot leaves, pea shoots and herbs!. Not a lettuce leaf in sight!.

Now tell me why you can't eat salad just because you don't like lettuce!? That's just an excuse! Www@FoodAQ@Com

1) Try different types of lettuce!. You may find some you enjoy!
2) You can use spinach as the base, instead of lettuce!.
3) Experimenting with salad dressings can be fun & creative!. Try a few vegetarian cookbooks, since they tend to lean heavier on salads!. You'll probably find better options here!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
