Answers:
Yes, there are edible!. You can cook the leaves as you would spinach, you should cook it because you don't know what's been on them!. Beetles, bugs, even mosquitoes!. The bacteria needs to be cooks off!. However, they are edible, My brother is a botanist, and i just asked him for you, lol!. He says they are edible, but make sure they're heated to at least 160 degrees fahrenheit to cook off any un-safe bacteria!.

But yes, they are edible, he says he's not sure how it tastes!. He was going to eat them, but he woke up, and caterpillars eat most of the leaves, and there were holes in them, so he didn't!. Lol!.
