I am a former chef and the people who have suggested Digestives or Mc Vities Biscuit are correct any wholemeal biscuit or sweet tea biscuit, processed in a food mill or MagiMix to crumbs is fine and if it is for cheesecake or a pastry base, just melt some butter or marg and a bit of dark brown sugar, and mix it like sage and onion stuffing to a meal and press it into the cake tin for baking!.

I made an American style cheesecake for my friends in Liverpool and now that all they make for guest at tea or over for dinner!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ritz crackers are not the same as graham crackers!.

Graham crackers are a bit sweet!. They are light brown in color!. You may call them biscuits in the UK!. Another way I think of them as is a healthy non frosted cookie!. In the US we eat them plain or often crush them and use them with a little melted butter and sugar to press into a pie tin for a crust!. Cheesecakes often have this crust!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah thy're called golden grahams, although I haven't seen them around for a while!. They're usually in the cereal section
