What!?!?!! You're asking if you can go to the produce dept!. and pick a banana and eat it!? Without paying for it!? If so!.!.!. that would be considered stealing!!!

If you mean can you break apart a bunch so you can PURCHASE just one banana, then YES, that is generally accepted!. If you plan on eating it before you get to the cash register!.!.!. then it would still be stealing!.

When i went to a supermarket once i ate half a chocolate !.!.!. i opened it and ate it there !.!.!.they didn't say anything to me( of course i payed it later showing them the paper)!. I think you can do the same but you really have to pay later :PWww@FoodAQ@Com
