Does gelatin is extracted from pig source!

Question: Does gelatin is extracted from pig source
Answers:
Sometimes it is!. If you look on the package, try to look for a U with a circle around it, a K, or a Hebrew-looking letter!. All three of these symbols means that the food is kosher, and if it contains gelatin, it's either a beef, fish or vegetarian source!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are many sources for gelatine!. Some being pork and bovine in origin!. But there are vegetarian sources from seaweed and stuff!. Unfortunately most products made in America and Europe use pork or bovine gelatine and muslims are not allowed to consume it!. For example kelloggs pop tarts, most gummies and jelly beans!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
