I just bought my first fresh mango. Do you peel the skin or can you eat it, too?!

Question: I just bought my first fresh mango!. Do you peel the skin or can you eat it, too!?
Answers:
You can eat it, but just like banana skin, it is both tough and a little bitter!.

Mango are great fruit, the inner 'stone' has some of the best nutrients!.

To eat the most:

Place the mango so it is taller than wide, place a knife around the horizontal middle and press til you reach the central stone!.

Rotate the mango and keep the knife still!.

When it is cut in half grip the lower part and rotate the top around the stone!. Your hands may get covered in juicy, but it tastes great!

Remove the stone and scrape off the remaining fruit flesh with a spoon or blunt knife!.

Scoop out the flesh with the same spoon!.

Enjoy the mango (it can taste a little of iron)!.

This way you scrape the flesh FROM the skin, and get the most out of it!

Mmmm!.

P!.S!. Best I have tasted grew in Pakistan(!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Skin of ripe mango cannot be eaten as it is strange in taste, however raw mango skin can be eaten!. Ripe mango has to be peeled off and get only the yellow - orange pulp from it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I peel it first!. But I have seen people just bite into it, then remove the skin from their mouth!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't eat the skin!.
