What are Grade D eggs?!


Question: What are Grade D eggs!?
We've saw Grade A before but Grade D are on sale this week really cheaply - what's the difference in Grading on egg products!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

D is for Dirty it has something to do with the quality of the egg shell not the contents, and is used usually in judging eggs at fairs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i have never heard of grade d eggs never alot of people think grade a eggs are the best no way when buying eggs you need grade AA otherwise they are bad quality !. i have worked in restaurants all my life and we will not use anything other then AA ,you no the white part that covers the yoke if not AA the white is very thin and break egg Www@FoodAQ@Com

grade d the eggs are of a lesser quality that I know!.
