Why doesnt chicken meat have any fat on it?!

Question: Why doesnt chicken meat have any fat on it!?
Answers:
I'd like to know where you are getting your chickens from!!! Chickens meat does have fat on it, it just depends on which part you are talking about!. Usually under the skin and around the dark meat!. If you are eating the white meat it usually is the leanest!. Do you have a secret you are hiding from the rest of the world!? I know when I cook chicken unless it is skinned, and even if it is skinned fat still drips off it!!!!

Probably because of the part of the chicken you eat, such as the breast appears to have no fat!. However, a chicken as a whole is soaked in fat!. If you cooked a whole chicken and left it to go cold, then cut into quarters you would be eating lots of fat especially if you ate the skin, though a lot is drained off during cooking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chickens have quite a bit of fat!. Buy a whole chicken and cut it up and take a look!. The fat on a chicken tends to be right under the skin, not marbled throughout like some other meats!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It does- but if you're buying precut then it's usually trimmed off!. The skin has loads of fat and there are fat pockets all over the bird!. also dark meat (leg, thigh) is fattier than white meat (breast, wing)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chicken has certain parts of it that are lean and some are fat!. The breast of the chicken and legs are lean!. The wings are fattyWww@FoodAQ@Com

Because it's delicious!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
