What South American rodent is classed as a fish by the Catholic church?!

Question: What South American rodent is classed as a fish by the Catholic church!?
Answers:
The capybara!.

All of these interesting stories that I have found so far do not note official documents or even the Pope's name!. So until documented I shall refer to then as legend!.

Legend has it that Church authorities declared species that were not fish but spent a lot of time in the water as fish including:
? Beavers
? Capybaras
? Muskrats
? Sea turtles
? Iguanas
? Sea birds

This practice was to enable people to eat more animals on Fridays and on any days during Lent!.

Lent was typically at the end of winter when domesticated meat was running low and none of the non-fishy fishes were domesticated!.

The needs of the people were more important than emerging scientific definitions!.

Even though the Capybara is the largest rodent on earth, yes, the Catholic Church declares it's a fish!. Considering some of the other ideas that come from the Vatican -- including the often complete disregard for science -- this doesn't seem all that extraordinary!. Here's a Wikipedia link for it: http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/CapybaraWww@FoodAQ@Com

Very Interesting,, Snackie!.!.
I am very much under the impression that in the 60's the church proclaimed the food restrictions are not SINS but rules for respect!.!.
Other than this information has no post to locate the tenets of the church today >> I must consider it local tradition/!.!.
They do not accept evolution, so it is is all nonsense!.!.
Capybara = Platypus !?!?!?!?
the religious are very good nerds!.!.!.It takes centuries to change
EDIT
sorry SnackieWww@FoodAQ@Com
