How many is in a pound 8-12 count shrimp are about the biggest and 80-120 are so small you can't do any thing with um!.21-25's are about the best for all around cooking !.Some folks go for 30-40's cause they say it they taste less iodine in um!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I believe the numbers mean how many pieces per pound!. So, the smaller the number, the larger the shrimp!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is the average count per pound!. The bigger the number the smaller the shrimp!. The biggest are U8s which mean they are less than 8 per pound or they weigh 2oz or more!.
