Answers:
when a mongo is ripe it should still be a little firm NEVER DIG YOUR THUMB INTO IT TO SEE IF ITS RIPE!. smell the end of the mango with the stem!. it should be rather strong and sweet!. there should be no mould around the stem area!. if it smells good its ripe!. some mangos that are picked and ripened off the tree may not have much of a change in colour!. they should be a pinky shade of orange but not always the case!. smell and enjoyWww@FoodAQ@Com
When choosing a mango, pick one that is plump and heavy for its size!. Most importantly, the mango should be fragrant when held near your nose!. If you'll be using the mango right away, you will want to find a ripe one!. Mangos are ripe when easily indented with your thumb!. (Avoid mangos that are so ripe they feel mushy!.) Www@FoodAQ@Com
