Whay do i get diarrhea after eating pizza!
I love pizza but i don't eat it that often! Just as a treat! I get pizza from Asda, Pizza Hut, and other takeaways but I have found that the next day I wake up with unbelievable stomach cramps and i end up with diarrhea!. Although if i have a microwave pizza that heats up in like 2 minutes I'm fine!? Is there anything in the pizza that I could have an intolerance to etc!?!?!?!?
also would a doctor be able to check and test for what it could be that is making me ill!?
Sensible answers only please, nothing like go and see a doctor or don'tt eat pizza! Iwasn'tt suggestions or personal experience!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Almost certainly the tomato paste on most of them!. It is highly concentrated tomato!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
i had a similar problem when i was a child , when ever i used to eat pizza i used to be sick in the middle of the night
i now never eat pizza late on in the day as its too heavy for my body to digest!.
i think your body might be rejecting the food and may possibly be the dough as most of the other ingredients are in every day foods!.if you get the thick base try a thin and crispy next time so its not so heavy on your body!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You may be gluten intolerant or dairy intolerant or perhaps its the topping!? it could also be irritable bowel syndrome which is different in everyone and there could be something in the pizza that triggers it in you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is amazing so many people ask for medical advice but don't actually want to go see a doctor!. Sorry to say, but you will probably need to see one for a more definitive diagnosis of your problem!.
Nevertheless, here are a few possibilities!. First is lactose intolerance, though being able to eat yogurt, cheese, etc!. leads one away from that!. Second is intolerance to gluten's, such as those found in the wheat used to make the pizza dough!. Crohn's Disease is a possibility, as is celiac's!. Plain, simple irritable bowel syndrome is yet another!.
Or a combination of all of the above!.
Sorry to be so brash regarding your doctor comment, but gastroenterologists spend many years trying to learn all there is about the gut that makes it work; and trying to diagnose a problem from thousands of miles away with only a symptom is damn near impossible (especially in this scenario)!.
Frankly, to really know what the problem is, you will need to see a doctor and have some tests run!.
Cheers!Www@FoodAQ@Com
