I don't remember it being on sale in the UK in the 50's, not until the middle 60's, when it was rumoured that coke and an asprin would give you a high! Entirely false, I know, we tried it in our office and all sat around expectantly, only to be disappointed! Oh, the follies of youth!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Coca-Cola was sold in 8-ounce bottles for 5 cents up until the mid-1960s!. I used to bring a nickel to school once in a while to buy one from the machine!. That was in 1965!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
