I guess if you warm them first it helps to bring out the buttery taste!.!.!.!.!.then add a spoonful of jam!. Here in our village in Cyprus, the little bakery is open 24 hours, and their croissants are wonderful!. Great to pop in and pick them up fresh from the oven, ready for breakfast, mmm,mmmmm Www@FoodAQ@Com

You buy them warm from your nearest bakery!.
You can also buy them 'pre-cooked' but not 'totally' cooked!. You can warm these up in a pre-heated oven for a few minutes!. Instructions on the packet!.
The worst croissants I've ever had were from a Motorway service station in, wait for it - France!. They had put them in the microwave!. I could probably have used them as shoe soles!.
Croissants are best eaten slightly warm and the fresher the better!.
Don't try to cut them, they'll disintegrate!. Tear them into bite-sized pieces, put a little butter and honey or jam on them and enjoy! Or you can dunk them in a bowl of milk coffee or hot chocolate, and I do mean a bowl - French style large breakfast cup!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well if you find them unsatisfying I'm not sure why it matters, but yep, you can heat them!. Some people like them hot - often people like them crispy on the outside - but I like them cold!. I don't eat them often though, they're essentially a pastry, made with a lot of butter!Www@FoodAQ@Com

They are best when cooked from frozen and eaten freshly done if they are the proper french ones!. If heated from cold they are no way near as nice! You really should try freshly cooked Pain au chocolat too!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

heated is better!. the best ones ive had are the chocolate croissants that the Bread store on Gloucester Road in Bristol! om nom nom!Www@FoodAQ@Com
