Go ahead and use the salted butter they will be fine! you can skip the salt that it calls for!. Hope that helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I would add the salt it calls for (the butter doesn't have that much salt in it to make a difference) because it does the following things for your baked goods:
Salt is a terrific flavor enhancer, helping to reduce bitterness and acidity, and bringing out other flavors in the food!.
Adding a little salt balances the flavor of sweets like cakes, cookies, and candies!.
hope this helps!. good luck and enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chocolate chip cookies are lovely with salted butter! So you can just use that instead!. In the end it will taste almost the same as if you'd used unsalted!. I wouldn't put in the salt because you already have salt in the butter but if you taste it and it tastes like it needs it, then add it!

i use salted butter all the time, i never buy the unsalted!. I don't reduce the salt, but you can!. taste the dough before you add the salt!. if you think it needs more, then add 1/2 the salt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
