White or wheat?.....?!


Question: White or wheat!?!.!.!.!.!.!?
For some reason, I prefer white with something like egg mayonnaise or salmon or salad but wheat with anything meaty like beef or ham!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Interesting that both words mean the same thing!.

The edible grass seeds native to Europe were oats, barley and spelt!. Oats was fed to cattle and Scotsmen!. Barley made beer and brown bread!. Spelt was known as wheat in German speaking countries because you could make white bread with it!. Then Raleigh brought back the American grass that made better quality white bread and we now call that wheat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, white is nice, but eventually, wheat is better, and healthier, for some reasons !
