Question: When you cook a can of green beans stove top, do I add water or is the juice inside fine!?
I'm making green beans and I don't have a microwave and there are no instructions for stove top!. Am I suppose to add water!? Do I drain the juice inside!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

You absolutely can heat the beans with the juice!. However, I drain that liquid add some butter and spices like black pepper and seasoned salt!. Lemon pepper is great too!. Even after draining the liquid if you use low flame and a cover the beans will steam well and there will be enough liquid to bring them to a boil!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fry a small piece of bacon in a pot, add a small handful of chopped onion and a bit of the bean liquid!. Cook briefly and then add the beans and the rest of the liquid!. Taste and adjust seasonings!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just open the can, pour the beans and the juice into a pan, and warm them up!. That's it!.!.!.very simple!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i just cook them in their juice from the canWww@FoodAQ@Com
