Question: What food should i put in my school lunch to replace a sandwich!? They get squished!!?
Well, as i said, i don't want to have a sandwich for lunch anymore because they get squished, but i still need something that will stick to my ribs because i am getting way too hungry (i'm not fat, at all!)!.

any things you think i should put in!?

i usually pack about 4 carrots and 6 sticks of celery,
a granola bar,
water,
fruit roll ups,
and string cheese!.

i need something to stick to my ribs though and last me about 3 hours till i get home!!

thanks!! have a GREAT weekend!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

a bagel or two!.!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

You don't have to give up sandwiches!. They stay nice if you get some reusable sandwich-sized containers to hold them in and make sure you make them the morning of the day you'll eat them!. In fact, if you don't already, you should use all reusable containers for your lunch!. also, take a container of milk, which will help keep you full!.

BTW: I commend you on bringing your own healthy lunch instead of buying into the propaganda that schools tend to spread that we are all too foolish to make our own lunches and therefore we must buy their starch-laden glop!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They have nice Rubbermaid containers that keep sandwiches from getting squished! But also if you still want something like a sandwich, then you can go with a wrap with a torilla shell or a pita, they do great with heavy objects!.
A nice turkey, guda cheese, bacon in a pita always makes my day!Www@FoodAQ@Com

lol whats wrong with squished sandwiches!.!.!.you can still eat them!?!.!.!.i actually squish sandwiches and bagels purposely!. try using french or italian bread!. those perfect size tuppaware for bread slices really arent big at all, if you can fit a sandwich why wouldnt that fit!? it depends where you keep your lunch too!.!.!.if you keep it in your backpack be more careful not to squish it or carry it separate Www@FoodAQ@Com

Walmart and other stores like it have tupperware that is exactly sandwich shaped/sized and also I think they have sandwich holders that are rigid like the aforementioned but cheaper and you can buy one at a time instead of a pack of 3 or 4!. Good Luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

this is soo incredibly random!.

pack a large fruit (like apple, orange, pear, etc!.)
bagel and cream cheese
cereal in a baggie
a salad
soup
chips
yogurt (did you know yogurt has the same live bacteria as a vagina!?)

I like bringing a little leftover pasta, rice, or vegetables!. Just heat it up in the morning, and maybe use a mini Thermos or Tupperware!. It's delicious and really fills you up!. And you know it's healthy, if it's something made at home!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could pack cereal and just get a milk from the cafeteria- that's what i do or sometimes I might pack soup in a thermos and ask the lunch ladies if I can heat it up Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can buy sandwich-sized plastic containers at your grocery store, walmart, target, etc!. Put your sandwich in one of those and it won't get squished!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

All right!. You could pack ur sandwich in Tubberware, so it won't get smooshed or you could eat:
1) salad instead * Toss leftover pasta with veggies and dressing
* Serve a "salad in bag" with shredded cheese and low-fat dressing on the side

2) taco (ex!. lettuce, cheese tomato on totilla)

3) ribs for your ribs (Lol, sorry I couldn't help but crack a joke)

4) 1!. Put 2 hot dogs in a thermos with boiling water!.!.take it to work!.!. By lunch time, the water will still be warm and all you do is whip out your bun!.!.voila!.!.instant "hot" hotdog!.

5) you can bring soup to a boiling point and fill up a thermos with soup as well!. just bring your crackers/bread!. Have water instead of soda!.

6) buy the individual bowls of oatmeal (where u add water and microwave) and u've got lunch!. It's actually quite filling and good for you to boot!. Bring fruit for dessert if u wish!.

7) Peanut butter and apple on a tortilla!. It's actually really good!

8) Cold spaghetti

9)Chicken pieces

10) Baked ziti or other casseroles

11) Pizza slices Ever want a pizza without the hassle of ordering out!? On some crusty Italian bread, spread a thin layer of spaghetti or pizza sauce!. Sprinkle some mozarella cheese over it and top with pepperoni and your favorite toppings!. Put under the broiler for a few minutes, until the cheese has melted and enjoy!

13) For a taste of the Mediterranean, toast two halves of a bagel and spread cream cheese on them!. Put a thin layer of hummus on top of that and top with thinly sliced tomatoes and cucumbers!.

14)How about jazzing up your normal tuna sandwich!? In a bowl combine a can of tuna with some chopped red onion, coarsely chopped black olives, fresh chopped parsley and fresh pepper!. Drizzle with some olive oil and mix!. Put the tuna mixture on some crusty bread and serve!.
Extras:
* Yogurt in a tube or drinkable yogurt with a muffin and fruit
* A carton of yogurt with low-fat granola and fruit to mix in
* A smoothie in a thermos along with a banana and graham crackers
* Cut, fresh vegetables, cheese cubes and whole-grain crackers
* Hummus with pita wedges and vegetables for dipping
* Hard-cooked egg and whole-grain roll!.
