I unknowingly ate moldy strawberry shortcake. NOW WHAT???!

Question: I unknowingly ate moldy strawberry shortcake!. NOW WHAT!?!?!?
I just made strawberry shortcake and used those Hostess dessert cakes you can buy at the store!. It was the first cake out of the package so I didn't think to examine it for mold -- since I just bought darn things!

So it got smothered in strawberries and whipped cream, and I went to town!. While I ate it, I remember thinking it had a funny aftertaste, but I just figured I screwed up the recipe!. Anyway, later on as I was preparing another shortcake, I noticed the next one in the package was covered in a downy-like fuzz, and underneath it had darker green spores!. I don't feel sick (yet)!.!.!. although the thought of eating the mold is making me want to vomit!. Is there any harm in what I ate!?!?!? Will I get sick from this!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
As others say, mold has been eaten for many years!. But it has been used almost like medicine, if you take TOO much it can be of harm!. But don't worry!. Just by eating a shortcake, it should have a maximum cause of constant trips to the washrooms and maybe vomiting!. If you had a sensitivity, you would have already experienced it!.
NO NEED TO WORRY!Www@FoodAQ@Com
