they have been in the freezer not the refrigerator Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
You can keep steaks in the freezer for quite a while and they won't go bad as long as they were frozen before the sell by date!. I frequently do this when steak is on sale-buy lots of it and freeze it for a couple of months!. They're more likely to get freezer burn before the meat actually goes bad, so make sure they were frozen in an airtight container!. I don't know an exact amount of time (atleast a couple of months), but if it looks and smells fine then it's okay to eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Meats that have been frozen are good for up to 90 days!. But the rule of thumb is use as soon as possible for flavor freshness!. The longer the freezing time the loss of flavor in the meat!. The max any high protein products should be frozen for is 90 days!. After that time it may start to develop freezer burn!. Bacteria is active but has been slowed down by freezing and not killed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ugh!.!.!.Don't ever eat steak that has been in the fridge a couple days!.!.!.I had one the other night and the next morning I was puking my guts out!. SO GROSS!.!.!.and I usually can keep everything down!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
