Second most popular dish is 'Fish 'n' Chips', which is a fillet of Cod or Hake, dipped in a batter of eggs, flour, salt (and sometimes beer or lemon juice too) and deep-fried, together with a good portion of chips (thickly-cut potato wedges/slices, cooked twice at hotter temperatures respectively until light and fluffy on the inside and crisp and golden on the outside!.
