Help! I ate a hot pepper!?!
I just took a big bite of a very hot pepper- I didn't know it was a spicy pepper until my mouth started to burn!. I never eat spicy foods due to stomach issues and now my mouth is burning- my lips are the worse!. I have tried water, milk, ice cream!. It has been five minutes- when does this feeling stop! Take milk or ice cream!.!.!. Ice cream is better since it has a higher fat content!.!.!. and eat the ice cream slowly!. Let the ice cream melt and swish it around in your mouth (like you would do with mouthwash)!.
After a few times, the burning should start to reduce!.
By eating the ice cream slowly it allows the ice cream to melt and bond with the capsaicin!. The swishing acts to "scrub" the capsaicin off the sides of your mouth!.

Well!.!.!.!.it's now three days after you asked your question! I hope you're still alive!
Next time, try bread and/or crackers!. It's the oil in the pepper which is where the heat is (and the seeds), so any liquid like water or milk will just swish it around more!. The bread/cracker will absorb the oil, and help relieve the heat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

lol i just ate sum hot chip dip and mine is burning too! i just get milk and not swallow it!.!.!.seems to work but then i swallow it and it comes back!.!.!.=SWww@FoodAQ@Com
