Why do I never see fried Salmon on the menu?!


Question: Why do I never see fried Salmon on the menu!?
Some kinds of fish seem to always be broiled and other kinds fried!. Is it just tradition or is there some sound reason behind this!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Salmon is really healthy and by frying it your defeating the object!!?!

Here in Brazil one of the most popular items to order in a Japanese restaurant is "Hot Philadelphia" which is a salmon and cream cheese sushi roll then deep fried!. I don't know why I haven't see these in the States, but they are HEAVEN!!
