Do Craisins (dried cranberries) count as a fruit serving?!

Question: Do Craisins (dried cranberries) count as a fruit serving!?
And do they have any of the same nutritional benefits as cranberries!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes and no!. They are awfully SWEET and all the sugar in a serving of dried cranberries would cancel out any benefit!.

The products called "craisins" you find on the grocery shelf are not the ones you really want to eat!.

Eat unsweetened cranberries or drink unsweetened cranberry juice for all the nutrition and other benefit without the sugar hit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes they count as a serving, a cupful = a serving!.

You would need to check the nutrion panel and compare!. I think they would be much the same!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, they're not a vegetable! Www@FoodAQ@Com
