Question: Barfi(dessert/sweet) question(plz help!!!)!?

I made a barfi today, and when i was done, i put it in the refridgerator to cool off, it has been in for about 6-7 hrs, and its still sticky!!!
Its not cuttable!.!.!.!.!.its not hard!.!.!.
whats the problem!?!?!?

Well the trick with barfi is to have the ghee and the syrup quantities correct!. also you need the syrup to be at the soft ball stage so that means it needs to be at the right temperature!. Barfi should be able to set at room temperature so if its sticky the only thing it needs is a little more cooking!. Use a little ghee in a heavy based pot and put the barfi in and cook on low heat stirring it continuously or it will catch onto the bottom of the pan and burn!. Keep cooking it until it starts coming together into a mass and then pour it out into your setting dish which needs to be greased with a little ghee and lined with wax paper so it comes out easily when cut!. Only reason its sticky is because the syrup was too thin but dont worry you can fix it so it wont go in the bin :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

First! Barfi is type of Sweet not a Desert!.
Then There is no need to put Barfi in Refrigerator!.!.!.!.
Im sure that u made mistake to make suger syrup in barfi!.!.!.
There is particular Suger syrup masure in Barfi!.!.!.!.
First you tell which Barfi u made!?
Is it Mava Barfi or any dryfruit barfi!.!.!.!.

all i can tell u is u cant do any thing to it !.!.!.!.
but the problem s u haven cooked it properly
the sugar should be cooked more so that it solifies soon
