Tuna with white or red wine?!

Question: Tuna with white or red wine!?
should i serve tuna steaks with a red or a white wine!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Normally, I say white wine with fish, but tuna steaks are very hearty, with a similar texture to steak:) So, I'd think it might depend on how you're preparing them!. If it's a light, citrusy marinade, then white would be nice!. Lots of herbs or a heartier marinade, and I'd go with red!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Red would be most common!. It really depends on the recipe!. Some spices (like basil) go very well with white!. Most sweeteners go well with white as well!. Now paprika for example, goes well with red!. It all depends on the recipe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Either!. Depends on what you are in the mood for! Tuna has a meaty flavour and pairs really well with red!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go for whichever you prefer and not what pretentious conventions tell you to!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
