I had to be on a yeast free diet for 3 months once!. It is hard to do, since everything you eat must be very fresh!. I'm going to link you to The Yeast Connection website!. They have recipes and ideas along with a chance to order the cookbook which includes things like yeast-free breads you can make (or crackers, tortillas, pancakes) meats, and veggies!. When you get to the point in the diet that you are allowed to have sweeteners, it also has recipes for natural sweeteners that are better for you than white sugar!.

One thing to look out for is you will have to also be off of sweeteners (that includes Splenda and Aspertame) while you are on the diet!. Sweeteners encourage any yeast already in your system and makes it even harder to detox!. They usually recommend adding fruit back to your diet after roughly 2 weeks!. It just depends on how fast you progress!.

The diet is hard to do since there is so much temptation out there, but with some planning you can conquer that issue!. Make sure you have raw veggies in the fridge ready to eat and some crackers or other bread that is totally yeast free on hand (recipes for these are in The Yeast Connection Cookbook and on their site)!. That way, you can avoid blowing your diet just because you're too hungry to wait for a meal!.

The diet does leave you hungry feeling for a week or two, but you can eat tons of the allowed foods in order to compensate!. You will lose weight, also!. I lost 12 pounds in 7 days - wasn't trying to lose weight, it just happened!.

Generally on a yeast free diet you also have to avoid moldy food!. My doctor recommended what basically boiled down to this:
No dairy, breads, wheats, rice, mushrooms, vinager, bacon, sausage, pasta!.
Eat chicken, fish, pork, minimal red meat, most veggies especially brightly colored, most fruits, nuts except peanuts, eggs!.
For salad dressing use lemon and oil!.
Cut all soft drinks and stick with water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
