Answers:
It's still good for your needs because it's the soluble oat fibre that your husband needs and that's still there after the "whizzing"!. One note though - I presume you're using fat free milk ( skimmed) or you're undoing your good work!. More additions that make porridge lovely are any fruit , dried or fresh,a little cinnamon, brown sugar instead of regular, or honey!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Porrige is good for cholesterol control!. That's not the be all and end all!. I hate porrige and refuse to eat it but I get my oats from digestive biscuits, I also eat weetabix with greek yoghurt and a bananna!. You could try a tablespoon of jam to make it a bit tasty or treacleWww@FoodAQ@Com

Like porridge, fresh fruit and vegetables are high in soluble fibre which lowers the cholesterol level so why don't you give him fresh fruit on his favourite breakfast cereal and plenty of veg!. during the day!. If this doesn't work, show him where the kitchen is! Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why bother!? I would rather eat my own vomit!.

Cut out Fatty foods and use the advertised products that help to lower cholesterol!. also help him get more excersize!Www@FoodAQ@Com

As long as he gets it in him it will benefit him!. You can also add it to meat loaf and other places where it wouldn't be noticed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not being funny!.!.!.but if you deleted the word HUSBAND it would sound like you were talking about a baby! He is a grown man and hqas to take responsibility for his own health!Www@FoodAQ@Com

everybody should dress up as the three bears for breakfast, that way it will be impossible to eat anything elseWww@FoodAQ@Com

As long as you use skimmed milk it will have the same benefitsWww@FoodAQ@Com

you could try adding a little cinnimon, or fruits and honey and jam as others have suggested!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hold on - you whisk it up with MILK !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
so what's the point ! ! !Www@FoodAQ@Com

Smother it with honey and strawberries!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Haha, Daisyhill's answer is so true!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
