What can I eat for lunch?!
At school the hot lunch is really disgusting so I usually just bring a bag lunch!. The past week I had peanut butter and jelly all week because that was the only thing I could think of to bring!. I'm going to get really tired of that so I need new lunch ideas!. It has to be something that doesn't need to be heated or refrigerated!. It also has to have no meat because I'm a vegetarian!. You can take several things!.
*-a bagel with cheese in it!. Plus add a little salad with your fave dressing
*-cheese sandwiches (can be a grilled cheese sandwich too)
*-Fruit sandwich!: things like sliced banana, strawberry, kiwi, or mandarin oranges are great for sandwiches!. Get a darker bread, like a wheat or raisin bread or even rye, and use something like low fat cream cheese spread on the bread, sandwich in the fruit!. Its VERY awesome, and looks nice so is even good for parties!.
*-raw carrots and cucumber with a pot of humous to dip in
*-- cheese/tomato pasta
*- avacado sandwiches with salad
*-fresh fruit
*-bread sticks and dip
*-egg mayonnaise sandwiches (with cress)
*-jacket potato with cheese/coleslaw/tuna(if you eat fish)
*-croissants
You can even take some cake, cookies or muffins in a little baggie for dessert!.

you could try brown rice salad with cucumber and peppers dressed with olive oil and your favorite citrus you could do varations with all different grains you could also make bean salads or just munch on assortied fruits and veggies!. As long as your food doesnt sit out over 41 degrees for more then 4 hours its considered "safe" so if you eat lunch after 3 hours you should be fine with most anything as long as its chilled well and in an insulated lunch pack with a ice packWww@FoodAQ@Com
