Why are fruit fruits?!

Question: Why are fruit fruits!?
Is it because they grow in the ground or something!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
LOL, good question! Fruits are produced on flowering plants (sometimes the flower itself is the edible fruit) and have seeds, whether its a stone, like apricots; seeds on the inside, like grapes & citrus, or seeds on the outside, like strawberries etc!.

So, if it has seeds, its a fruit, if not, they are vegetables!.

Because it is a huge misconception, fruits include pumpkins, tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, eggplants, capsicums etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fruits have seeds in the ovary while the vegetables don't!. They don't literally grow in the ground some in ground some in trees!. hope I helped! Www@FoodAQ@Com

They are the fruit (Latin Fructus- enjoyment) of the plant!. It's ovary!.
The fruit of the vine!. The enjoyment of it's product!.

I would definitely argue that! They can also be vegetables! They don't have to be fruit!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fruit grow on tree's (though tomatoes are argued about!.!.!.) and also have seeds in them (pips!.)

Vegetables, grow in the ground, and have no seeds!.
