Fruit and vegetable spoilage times?!

Question: Fruit and vegetable spoilage times!?
I am moving back into my dorm soon, and I thought maybe taking fruit to school with me would be a good, quick, healthy snack!. Plus, when I must eat a meal outside the cafeteria's hours, I need a lot of vegetables!. However, I need produce that will keep between weekly grocery trips!.

How long do different kinds of fruits keep!? Which ones should I eat immediately, and which ones can I save for the end of the week!?

If I must eat a meal outside cafeteria hours, what vegetables will keep for a fairly long time after I open them!? I can't really eat salad because that will go bad within a day after it is opened!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
soft fruits should be eaten first as they have short shelf life, fruits such as kiwis bananas next then apples and oranges!. general rule is the softer the fruit the quicker you use it!.keep your veg cool and dry root veg keep longest!.
baby corn and sugar snaps or mange tout keep for a week
but bean sprouts need to be used quickly or they go slimy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
