Fruit and Vegetable both are different words, look at their definition!.!.

Fruit: Seed bearing part of a tree or plant; this as food
Vegetable: plant, esp!. a herbaceous plant used for food!.

some fruites of plants we consider as vegetables and tomatoe is one of them that comes under both category!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I guess that it really does not matter what you consider it!. It is a fruit technically!. Use it however you want to!.
