Answers:
Put it in the freezer for 10 minutes
OR
Run it under some cold water!.

Then chew some gum while you're chopping (this doesn't work for me, but it works for my mom)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A shortcut vs!. putting it in the freezer is to run it under cold water for a while before cutting, this also sweetens the flavor of the onion!. I like to buy a whole bag of onions on sale, chop them in the food processor and freeze in 1-cup batches!. This saves a lot of time, money and tears! Www@FoodAQ@Com
