Plan your weekly menus - i feed myself, husband (who works shifts so isn't always around for evening meals) three kids and a dog!.
I work full time so don't care for spending hours in the kitchen at the end of the day, but it's much more economical to cook from scratch rather than buying pre-prepared foods and shop for value versions of foods you eat regularly!. If you're buying ingredients for something you can afford to buy cheaper versions eg of pasta, rice, cheese etc and spend a little more on meat, fish (where quality matters)!. If you regularly buy brand-name products give the store-brand ones a try, they're usually 60% of the price and just as good!.
Cook as though you're feeding a couple of extra people, then you can freeze the extra portions for days you don't feel like cooking, or take them to work the following day!.
Fill your spice rack with loads of dried herbs - they can make boring meals much more interesting!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Stick to the outer isles!. This is where all the raw food is that is better for you and your family!. Stay away from over processed food!. Buy in bulk whenever possible!. The trip to Costco might cost a lot right now but divide that over a few months and you would have saved a bundle!. Only buy perishables that you and your family will eat!. This will cut down on wasted food!. Create a menu and stick to it!. This will help you see exactly what your family is eating and how often!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
i would say the #1 best way to save money is not shop for top brand names allot of times you are just paying for the advertising and packaging of product !.
it is a well known fact in the food industry (restaurants and distributors)
that well known top brand companies also make the no-frill products !.
because when a big company is done making a certain quota on their own product that the fill the slack in time by making no frill brands !. not all of them but allot of them do it !. you need to test some of the no frill products and see if they meet your standards
good luck and for your information the price will stay the same on food products at least for 1 more year till the prices start to decrease !.this is the word in our industry
so for now good luck
good savings
and still good cooking Www@FoodAQ@Com
