Question: Why don't people get sick from eating half cooked steak!?
Answers:
The interior of the meat is inherently sterile since it is solid pure muscle and has never been exposed to bacteria!. You take a little chance eating burgers rare since you can get salmonella from eating them raw sometimes!.

I suppose they can get sick if not cooked all the way or properly!. If you are talking about steaks cooked rare- those are delicious!. You just have to make sure the meat is cooked all the way thru, and still have the pinkness to it!. Best way to eat meat is medium!. yum!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Something about the density of the meat makes it so that the bacteria can only penetrate the outer layers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

im with you on this!. the thought of eating pink meat grosses me out to no end!. eeewww!!! and if its pink, its not done, i dont care what anyone says!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
