What kind of food do you recommend?!
I am going on a 3!.5 day trip to Atlanta, GA for what I like to refer to as "Nerdfest", bka DragonCon!. The hotel where we will be staying is adjacent to a food court but I get really tired of fast food really quick!. also, I do not want to spend a ton of money at "sit-down-restaurants", so I was wondering what I can pack with me that I can keep fresh in a cooler, and does not have to me microwaved!.!.!.!.(no microwave in the hotel!.!.!.all I have is hot water)!. The only thing I can think of is Ramen for some reason, so please give me some suggestions!.!.!.

My husband goes to conventions all the time and packs food because he also gets tired of the convention fare!. His go-to items include a loaf of whole-grain bread, peanut butter, jelly, whole-grain crackers, apples (do not need to be refrigerated and don't bruise as easily as some other fruit), a few small containers of pre-cooked bulgur, couscous, brown rice, or whole wheat pasta, and those vacuum-sealed bags of tuna!. The only thing on the list that really even needs to be refrigerated would be the Tupperware containers of pre-cooked grains/rice/pasta--he usually mixes these with the bagged tuna and says it keeps him full for hours!.
