It's really a toss-up!. Most would probably consider ranch to be a tiny bit better for you than mayo, although there's really not much difference!.

Mayo is 100% fat as opposed to ranch, which is 95% fat!. But mayo has slightly less SATURATED fat than ranch!. And mayo has less sodium!.

On the other side, ranch has a teeny bit of protein and fiber!. And overall, ranch has slightly fewer calories, fat, and cholesterol!.

You can also get either in reduced fat/calorie versions!.

Best Foods Mayo:
90 cal per Tbsp
10 g fat per Tbsp, 1!.5 g of which are saturated
5 mg cholesterol
90 mg sodium
0 carbs
0 protein
100% of your calories come from fat

Kraft Ranch Dressing:
74 cal per Tbsp
7!.8 g of fat per Tbsp, 1!.2 g of which are saturated
4 mg cholesterol
143!.5 mg sodium
0!.65 g carbs (0!.05 g fiber, 0!.6 g sugars)
0!.2 g protein
95% of your calories come from fatWww@FoodAQ@Com

i would definitely have to say that mayo is more unhealthy, more calories!. because it also depends on what you have with it!. with ranch you can have a salad and its at least a little more healthy than say!.!.!.!.a sandwhich with mayo!.!.!.!.!. thats my opinion Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ranch!. I make it all the time at work!. It has not only mayo, but buttermilk and tons of sodium-laced spices and herbs!. I'd rather have ranch, but it does have more calories and is worse because of the sodium and fat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
