A few different choices!.!.!.
First budget helper is to remember that your thing doesn't have to feed everyone in attendance, so don't worry about providing massive quantities!. Not everyone will choose your thing, and people don't take meal sized portions either!. They nibble!. A family sized portion of a dish from you, added to everyone else's!.!.!.will be fine!. I always forget this!
OK some good choices!.
Drinks: can of coffee, canister of lemonade mix, box of family sized tea bags!. Jar of creamer, bag of sugar, sweetner packets!. Any or all!.
You can prepare a cake or a pan of brownies!.
Baby carrots, bag of salad, apples, a watermelon, or something else light and healthy!. People sitting around eating donated food for days!.!.!.will appreciate it!.
If you are taking food to the home, some easy prep things might be good: A roll of cookie dough or some mac and cheeses, a box of cereal, a gallon of milk, a gallon of ice cream!.
You can also bring household things if there are houseguests staying with the family!.!.!.paper plates, napkins, toilet paper, cleaning wipes, a yahtzee game or deck of cards or a kid's DVD!.!.!.anything to help with the overflow of people in the house!.

I have attended more than my fair share of funerals over the years!. For some reason it seems customary to serve dry and sweet sherry as people arrive!. Trays of sandwiches are nearly all you need, no party foods, ham, tinned salmon, egg, cheese etc!. also provide fruit bowls apples, oranges, grapes etc!. Sombre respect should be the keynote so no one should expect filo prawns or mini duck wraps!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
You could bring a few different dishes!. if you want to bring drinks I would ask if they are doing cans or bottles though!. Or just bring two different cases of soda!. But, I would say a few dishes of different foods!. A lot of times now people buy them at their local deli and simply place them into their own dishes at home!. Like a pasta dish, maybe a specialty bread, and or a potato dish or something like that!. Depending on where you live and your culture!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
