Well yes they are but you don't want to eat them raw because they carry some rare kind of parasite that causes Meningitis!. also I found out that banana slugs gnaw off their own penis during mating to disengage!. why not, slugs are snails that don't have shells!. so i'm pretty sure there edible!. if you take the shell of a snail it becomes a slug!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
