Answers:
Yes, it's fine to eat!. Eating things that are only a few days past the "consume by" date are perfectly fine!. The date is just a guideline, it doesn't mean that at 12 AM that day it suddenly goes bad!.

I'm sure you'll be fine!. May as well not let it go to waste anyways, right!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

out of date - means the date the grocery story can sell it

check the edges for those pesky little spots
and also the leading slices on the 'face' of that slice -

there may be a few salvageable - and there may be nothing wrong at all

been in college - done that - still ate it with PB & J

and I lived

all the bestWww@FoodAQ@Com

So long as it's not gone mouldy you can ignore the use-by day - cafe and restaurant owners do, all the time ! ! !
Even if it HAS got a little mould round one edge, just cut it off and make toast with what's left - you'll come to no harm!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's ok to eat!. Even if it has a small spot of mold on it and you're really that desperate, you can cut it off!. It won't hurt you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if it isnt mouldy it will be OK to eat!. Toast it though as stale bread makes good toast!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Take the mould off if any & then toast it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Check if its moldy!. If its not it should be fine :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
