no!.!. too high in fatty proteins!.!. (all organ meat is too fatty) high in fats in general and very little vitamins and minerals!. some iron and some vitamin b 12!. but that's it!.

it's good for weight gain!.!.!. nothing much else to be honest!.


it's a course meat!.!.!. steer heart is a nicer meat but still very fatty!.

i used to eat the junk, never understood what the fanfare was!. liked heart better!.!. but that was even a tiresome dish!.

and no, salmon is not a good comparison to cow's tongue!.!. salmon has more vitamins and minerals and omega 3 oils!.!. a healthier more leaner fatty protein!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is considered to be an "organ meat" which is also higher in cholesterol!. (But, hey, so is liver!.)
Yes, when it is prepared correctly it is very tender and tasty!.
It is also expensive!. The last one I bought at a supermarket cost about $14!.00!.
But I don't eat it very often!.

Yes, it's very healthy!. Practically no fat, lots of protein!. Sliced thin, with some mustard or horseradish sauce, it makes a great sandwich!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
