What should I know about Bananas?!
I don't really eat that much fruit, but I have a few questions about bananas!. First off, how are they good for the body!? What vitamins do they contain and what parts of the body are they healthy for!? also, how long does it take for them to ripen!? How long until they turn from yellow to brown!? I ask about the yellow to brown because whenever i buy some sort of fruit, my dad or sister eats it and it annoys me, so i cant keep it in the kitchen or fridge!. Do bananas last longer refrigerated or not refrigerated!? How long do they last unrefrigerated!? I ask because I'm keeping them in my room so I can only access them and so no one else can eat my bananas!. Anyone know much about bananas!?!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bananas are a great source of potassium, vitamin B6 and manganese!. They are good for every part of your body, but especially your heart, and your muscles if you are at all physically active!. How fast they ripen depends on a lot of factors such as heat, humidity, exposure to sunlight!. The warmer the environment, quicker they ripen, but I would say from green to brown it probably takes an average of 4 or 5 days!. Most people do not recommend putting bananas in the fridge, but I do it all the time!. I like them cold, and they keep longer (maybe up to a week or more)!. The peel becomes sort of discolored and black, but the flesh still tastes great!. I absolutely adore bananas, and find myself craving them if I do not have them around!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
bananas are high in potassium; low potassium can cause muscle cramps!. you should store bananas at room temperature and not refrigerate them because they spoil faster that way!. a green banana will usually ripen in a couple of days and once yellow, they will last 4-5 days before turning brown!. even once they start getting brown spots on them they are still good to eat, they will just be a little softer and have a fuller flavor!. They have a LOT of sugar there good but at the same time there not!.:DWww@FoodAQ@Com
well first they're loaded with potassium!.!. as far as how long they keep, they do keep better in a fridge, the peel will turn brown quicker in the fridge, but the inside will still stay "white" longer, out of the fridge they peel gets brown slower, but the inside also turns brown quicker!. They'll last about a week but some will start turning a little brown they can last longer tho, it depends on how you like them too if you like them a little under ripe, or just right, or a little mushy! I like them when they're all yellow and right out of the fridge cold! also be careful not to bump them much of let them bump into other things as that will bruise them causing brown spots on the banana itself quicker!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
