The most noticeable difference between marks and spencer foods and those of other supermarkets is the quality of the meat!.
I wouldnt buy meat from anywhere else!.
Unfortunately,my local M&S store doesnt stock very much and its soon gone for that day!.

marks and spencers is better quality but it is also very expensive!. it depends really on what you can afford!. i know i couldn't afford to shop in marks all the time but now and again it is nice as a treat or if you have visitors coming to stay with you!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
I would avoid M&S sandwiches for the moment, as they've just announced several hundred redundancies amongst their sandwich makers, and you never know what a disgruntled employee will do!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
M&S stuff is generally good quality, but I still don't think its good enough to be worth the amount they charge for it!. Its like paying restaurant prices and then cooking it yourself, which is crazy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The fortunes of M&S vary!. But their successes are based almost entirely on their food sales at the moment!.
Says it all in a way!.
Don't rule out local producers or farmers markets however!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've had cookies and coffee from M&S, they were WONDERFUL! Tesco is good and much more practical, but M&S is great for a nice treat or for company!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Like most things in life - you get what you pay for!. As a working mum however, Tesco is more within my budget (especially their own brand and Value range)Www@FoodAQ@Com
I agree with Alison!. M&S is fab but very expensive!. Waitrose is the middle way!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
well if you can afford it I would go for M&S but Waitrose has good quality food as well!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
You cant beat M&S food, it is ALL delicious!. Much better than Tesco : )Www@FoodAQ@Com
