I thought veggies were supposed to make people feel better and healthier!? So what the heck is this!? Do you think it could be the die-off effect!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Well it could be the cabbage!. It naturally produces a lot of gas in the stomach especially raw!. Gas can make you feel nauseated and yucky!. Broccoli cauliflower, onions, Brussels sprouts, turnips, carrots, just about any raw veggie like that causes a lot of gas!.!.!. It can cause gas even if it is cooked also but worse when it is raw!.!.!. Take a gas pill like axid, cemetidine, ranitidine etc!.!.!.gaviscon maalox for gas!.!.!.!. anything that says gas!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You're body is probably not used to eating healthy & it may take a good few days to get over the detox program of it!. try using some of your normal food with it & then slowly get off your old food to the good food totally!. Use protein too & drink lots of water!.

Perhaps cook the vegies!. I love vegies but what you described sounds foul!. Cabbage is great sauteed in a pan with onions and a little butter - mustar seeds are a great addition too!.

Brocolli can be done the same way!. Or steam in the microwaveWww@FoodAQ@Com

too bad you didn't make it into a slaw, you may not have had the same reaction if you had done so!. Or it could be that the veggies were contaminated or getting too old to safely consume!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Maybe your system isn't used to eating anything so healthy and is protesting! Hang in there! maybe a carrot might help, that's sweet! give it a few days!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
