The truth about high-fructose corn syrup?!

Question: The truth about high-fructose corn syrup!?
So I've been seeing these commercials on TV promoting high-fructose corn syrup!. They say it is just like sugar and isn't bad for you at all!. But I'm not buying it!. Why!? Well, if I drink iced tea that has high-fructose corn syrup in it, I get a stomach ache, but when I drink tea with the exact same ingredients except instead of high-fructose corn syrup it has sugar, I'm fine!. So something that gives me a stomach ache can't be healthy, right!? What really is the truth about high-fructose corn syrup!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
its being volleyed good and bad politically!. lots of research about how it doesnt trigger some endocrine responses (good and bad), but its cheap and helps keep food fresher over longer periods of time!. fructose and HFCS have been linked with forms of intestinal cancer; and HFCS is also metabolized differently and the liver spouts out more blood lipids with it!.

the real truth is that too much sugar in any form isnt healthy!. a lot of processed foods and drinks contains excessive amounts of sugar!. I cant stand HFCS myself either!.!.!.!. too sweet!. just do what your body is telling you to do!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just because you're not allergic to somethings doesn't mean you're immune to everything else!. If you eat corn without any problems then it might be the process that it goes through to become the syrup which you might be allergic to!.

also you immunes system and tolerance for things change throughout your life!. Something you liked as a kid you might find too sweet or too sour as an adult!. Same goes for allergies!. Something that didn't bother you early in life may very well not sit well with you later on!.
