What is the maximum amount of pizza one can order over the phone I'm talking like 50 plus boxes?!

For that much, you'd usually have to prepay or provide a pre-authorized credit card payment -- which is easier if you order online!. At the very least, a deposit!. A lot of smaller places won't even do it!.
The obvious reason is the risk if the order's fake!. The cheapest I've seen for a decent tasting party tray was $20Cdn, so for 50 of those, we're talking about $1000!. That's not a small amount of money, and it's likely to cost more than that!.
The other is because most smaller pizzerias don't have the oven capacity to do more than 4-8 pizzas at a time (assuming party tray size)!. Since each batch will take 20 minutes or more, by the time you get to the 50th pizza, the first few will be cold, and even if the order's legit, the customer might refuse to accept cold pizzas!.
You're better off ordering a 4 or 5 through several pizza places around town!. If you need them all to be the same recipe, then order through a networked franchise like Dominos or Pizza Hut, where they can field the order out to several chain stores!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is much 'high jinx' going on nowadays!. Thus, unless you are a well seasoned and established customer of a pizza place, they won't accept any large orders from you!. This is NOT a personal insult, but a 'safety precaution' on their part!. They want to know that their effort will be taken seriously and that they will be paid!. Perhaps, you could stop by the pizza place, put down a suitable deposit, and then place your order!. Put yourself in the other person's place and you will understand me in a positive way!. Well most likely you would have to let them know ahead of time because it will give them enough time to get more topping and all that sort of stuff and thatsexactly what they do at like subway and places like that!. A large order would have to be ordered in advance!. Ask the place where you will be ordering how much time is needed to have the order ready!. My local place needs a couple of days in advance!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You should call the place you are ordering the pizzas!. Each place is different!. If you have a credit/debit card, i would say as much as the pizza place can produce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most facilities that make pizza will NOT make this many pizzas without ordering in person!.!.!.they do not want to loose money on people who might make "Joke orders" !. Go to the place of business and pay first!.
