Stilton is gorgeous with a glass of Port, Boursin, Garlic cheese spread, Pineapple Roule soft cheese in a ring with pineapple and nuts!. Wensleydale and Cheshire!. We sometimes have a cheese evening and I get all these in with water biscuits, grapes and apples!. Oh! and a really nice Port!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just buy various different types and taste them!. If you love cheeses then you won't be disappointed!. Try a cheese evening with around 10 or 12 types of cheeses, hard, soft, semi-soft, blue, etc!., The personnel at a good cheese counter can advise you!. Take the the cheeses out of the fridge an hour before serving, to allow the flavours to develop!. Serve with different breads and crackers, brown, white, walnut bread, raisin bread, etc!., Again, a good baker will be able to advise you!. Serve with plenty of peeled walnuts, raisins or sultanas and some fresh green grapes, and, of course, a good bottle or two of red wine!. Go for something fruity such as a Cotes du Rhone, or a good Languedoc!. Don't make the classic mistake of serving a green salad with this meal, as vinagrette or mayonnaise do not go well with the wines and give a metallic taste to the mouth which spoil the cheeses!. Enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't know where you live, but if there is a good market around you can buy all kinds of cheeses from the deli counter in whatever quantity you want! They will usually also let you sample some of them!.!.!. so there is no reason you can't try all the cheese in the world ;)
Some good ones to start with are Manchego, drunken goat, and Morbier!. I assume you have had gorgonzola, but if not, you should def!. put it on your list!.
If you have a friend who is also interested in cheese, it can be really fun to have little tasting parties where each person brings one or two cheeses!. Bring some crackers and wine and then have fun! also if you can get ahold of some quince paste it can really compliment certain cheeses!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I also love my cheese!. Cheese on toast, cheese on biscuits washed down with a glass of wine, grated cheese in my tomato soup, cheese on my jacket potatoes and dollops of dairylea on my peas and mash!

Last year, someone recommend stilton and apricot to me!. i gave it a try and it was lush!

also, try Brie!. Especially with cranberry!. Or Brie and bacon sandwiches!. I never like it straight from the fridge though, so let it warm up a little first!. Not sure if you are meant to do this, but it tastes much better!.

Right, I'm off down the shops to get me some cheese!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Applewood is a lovely non blue cheese!. It is smoked and one of my faves!.

I would try St!. Agur for a starter since it is a mild-ish blue cheese and easily available!. They even do it in a spread but I would avoid that as it is rubbish!.

Other French cheeses are also amazing but you will need to go to a proper deli for those as the supermarket ones tend to be a poor version half the time!.

Are you in the UK!? If yes, Waitrose has a really lovely slightly salted version of Philadephia (it's in a little round blue and white tub) and it's knocks spots off Phili!

If you like toasted sandwiches, Gruyere is absolutely delish!. I had it on a Croque Monsieur at Cafe Rouge at the weekend and it was lovely!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

French Brie and Camembert are soft and delicious - I love eating them on crackers with either marmite or pickle mmm

Oh also, a few months ago I tried a cheese at Morrisons which was either cheddar or wensleydale I forget, but it had chocolate cherries in it!.!. odd but surprisingly delicious and not that expensive at all!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Saturated fats should be eaten in moderation, a growed up girlie like you should know that!. a peice the size of a small match box being the max recommended a day!. Steer clear of the hydrogenated fatty ones with additives if you must!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
