When do I ice my cake?!

Question: When do I ice my cake!?
I am baking a cake (hopefully it tastes as good as it smells right now!)!. But do I wait until it's cooled down completely until I ice it!? Or can I do it straight away!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Ice it when its cooled down because if you ice it when its hot; the frosting will melt on it and it'll look a tad messy!.

Good luck on your cake(:

Icing can be applied with a utensil such as a knife or spatula, or it can be applied by drizzling or dipping or by rolling the icing out and draping it over the cake!. The method of application largely depends on the type and texture of icing being used!. It is best applied when the cake is cooled so that she shape remains and it is not runny :)

if you don't want the icing to melt & run down the sides of the cake from the heat you have to allow the cake to cool completely before putting the icing on it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Dont ice it straight away! You'll ruin it because the icing wil start to melt and go all gooey!. Leave it to cool completely and then ice it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Allow to cool completely before icing!. The icing will get all runny if you do it while its hot or warm!.!.=)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Funny that question!.
I iced my cake, when I could well afford it, and not before
