How to get rid of fruit flies?!

Question: How to get rid of fruit flies!?

my house now has them bc while we were on vacation my brother came home a few days earlier than us and was a slob and left food out and they came!. We've tried a few things but nothing has worked!

Garden stores have a neat device that works, and looks cool!. It is a bottle on legs that has a hole in the bottom and a little trough around the hole that holds a little sugar water, coke or wine!. The flies go up through the hole and get into the wine, they never get out! @10!.00Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try this: Take a small glass and fill it halfway with apple cider vinegar and two drops of dishwashing liquid!. Mix it well!. The flies will be drawn to the cup!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use Avon Skin-so-Soft oil!. I have some in a little shot glass near the sink; and put it on paper towels under my fruit bowl on the counterWww@FoodAQ@Com
