Can You Eat The Wrapper Of Stride Gum?!?!?!
A friend of mine has been told by her friends that Stride gum's wrappers are edible and is now eating them!. I started to try it, because I HAVE heard of SOME KIND of gum having edible wrappers, but the ones on Stride did not dissolve! ARE THEY REALLY EDIBLE, or has she been fed a line that she's believing!?!!?!!?

Well, most paper is made without any toxic ingredients!. Doesn't mean you'll eat it!. The same goes for the stride gum wrapper!. The makers of Stride gum designed the wrapper to be non-toxic, yes, but TO BE EATEN, no!.
To answer you're question directly, yes you can eat the wrapper of stride gum!. However, it was not designed to be eaten, and so you and your friend should be careful about it!. Although I doubt it is harmful enough to do serious damage, its better to lay off the wrapper!.

i mean you don't really eat the gum in the first place but!.!.!.yeah you can chew the gum with the wrapper!. it dissolves after a while and makes the gum last longer!. but the downfall, it starts to has a really bad taste if you chew it for too long!.!.!.i don't really like stride gum to tell you the truthWww@FoodAQ@Com
i ate some winter mint stride with the entire wrapper on it and it dissolved after like 1 or 2 minutes!. Someone told me that too!. Someone also said that it isn't good for ur digestive system or something like that so i stopped!. But u can and it duzn't taste bad or anything!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
well i don't know if they are exactly 'edible' per say!.!. but i have done it and the wrapper dissolves after a while!. its kinda neat for the first time!.!. but it ruins the taste of the gum a bit lol!.

yes they are!.!.!.!.you have to chew the gum and rip the wrapper in half then chew the wrapper 2!.!.!.!.thats what we do in school because we dont want the teachers to c that we are chewing gum!! they are edible!! dont Worry!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
